These terms and conditions apply to users who are consumers as defined by the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 (“CPA”). No part of these terms and conditions is intended to restrict, limit, or evade any of ZRSolar’s or your rights or responsibilities. In terms of these terms and conditions, you may not cede, assign, or otherwise transfer your rights and duties to any other person.
Any omission on your or ZRSolar’s behalf to enforce any right under these conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right. If any term or condition in this document is found to be invalid, the other terms and conditions will continue to apply.
Unless in writing and acknowledged by or on behalf of the parties hereto, no alteration, addition, deletion, or agreed cancellation of the terms and conditions will have any validity or effect. The ordering, sale, and delivery of goods, as well as the usage of the website, are governed by these website terms and conditions (“terms and conditions”). These terms and conditions apply to everyone who visits or uses this website (“you,” “your,” or “user”), including, but not limited to, any user who registers as described below (“registered user”). You accept that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions by using and registering on the website. ZRSolar owns and operates the website www.zrsolar.co.za, as well as any connected mobi-sites and software apps (the “website”). ZRSolar may, in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate the operation of the website or the user’s right to use the website or any of its contents at any time and for any reason, with or without previous written notice, subject to us completing any orders you have already placed.
To place an order on the website, you must first create an account. You agree that once the correct username and password for your account have been entered, regardless of whether the use of the username and password is unauthorized or fraudulent, you will be responsible for the payment of that order, unless you cancel it in accordance with these terms and conditions. You undertake to contact ZRSolar as soon as you become aware of or suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your login and password, and to take action to minimize any damage or harm that may occur.
By using the website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 (eighteen) years old and have the full legal ability. If you are under the age of 18 (eighteen) or are not legally entitled to enter into a binding agreement, you may only use the website with your parent or legal guardian’s assistance and supervision. If a parent or legal guardian supervises you and grants his or her approval, that person agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as to be liable and responsible for you and all of your duties under these terms and conditions.
You agree that you will not use the website to disseminate information that is defamatory, offensive includes or amounts to hate speech, or is otherwise objectionable without the express prior written authorization of an authorized ZRSolar representative, you may not display, publish, copy, print, post, or otherwise use the website and/or the information contained within in any manner. We value your privacy and will take reasonable precautions to safeguard it. We have the right to use and disclose your personal information if it is necessary to comply with any relevant law, subpoena, court order, or legal process served on us, or to protect and defend our rights and property. In the case of fraudulent online payment, ZRSolar is authorized to reveal relevant personal information for criminal investigation reasons or in accordance with any other legal duty that may be imposed on it for the sharing of personal information. We shall make certain that all of our employees, third-party service providers, departments, and partners who have access to your personal information are subject to proper and legally enforceable confidentiality responsibilities. On written notification from you and upon satisfaction of all responsibilities between ZRSolar and yourself, we shall erase your personal information from our database. This does not imply that ZRSolar is obligated to guarantee that your personal information is removed from third-party databases. If you and ZRSolar have a legal issue, ZRSolar will remove your personal information as soon as the legal dispute is resolved, as per your request. All notices under these terms and conditions must be in English and sent by hand, prepaid registered mail, telefax, or email. All hand-delivered notifications will be deemed received on the day of delivery. By prepaid registered mail, 10 days from the date of posting, it will be considered received;
By email, the date stated in the “read receipt” message will be considered. To serve as confirmation that an email has been read, all email exchanges between you and us must employ the “read receipt” option. The laws of the Republic of South Africa shall govern and interpret these terms and conditions, as well as our relationship and/or any dispute originating from or in connection with these terms and conditions. By continuing to use the website, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in any processes, transactions, applications, and the like.
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your ability to bring a claim under the CPA in any court, tribunal, or forum of competent jurisdiction.
Sales and Availability of Stock
ZRSolar may accept or reject orders for items placed by registered users. The availability of products, the accuracy of information pertaining to the goods (including, without limitation, the price), and ZRSolar’s receipt of payment or payment permission for the goods all influence whether or not an order is accepted. Note that ZRSolar will signal that your order has been accepted by delivering the items to you or enabling you to pick them up, and only then will a sale agreement between you and ZRSolar be in force (the “sale”). This is true even if ZRSolar has notified you that your purchase or payment has been confirmed.
ZRSolar will cancel your purchase and refund you for any money you have already paid as quickly as feasible if your order is rejected. You may cancel an order at any time before delivery or collection of the products, as long as you do so before receiving a dispatch or delivery notification. You may only return the products after delivery or pickup, and only in compliance with the returns policy. A 20% handling charge will be applied to all cancelled orders. Placing items in a wish list or shopping basket without completing the buy cycle does not represent an order for those items, and as a result, items in the shopping basket may be deleted if stock is no longer available or the price has changed. If such items are
not accessible or are not available at the price when you finish or attempt to complete the purchase cycle at a later time, you cannot hold ZRSolar accountable.
You accept that all items on offer have a limited supply and that price is subject to change at any moment without notification to you. When it comes to items for sale on ZRSolar’s website, ZRSolar will make every effort to keep track of stock levels and guarantee that when stock runs out, offers are removed from the site. However, we cannot promise that stock will be available. ZRSolar will tell you if items are no longer available after you have made an order, and you will be entitled to a refund of any money previously paid for such goods.
On the website, we will make every reasonable effort to correctly display the description, availability, purchase price, and shipping charges of items. However, if there are any errors of any kind on the website (that are not due to our gross negligence), we will not be liable for any loss, claim, or expense arising from a transaction based on an error, except to the extent of refunding any amounts already paid in the case of an incorrect purchase price.
Payment
We are dedicated to delivering safe and secure online payment options. All transactions are encrypted using the most up-to-date encryption technology available. Payment for items can be accomplished via –Electronic Funds Transfer whether the goods are for sale by ZRSolar (EFT) Please note that we do not take debit or credit card payments owing to our low price structure.
After you’ve chosen your payment option, you’ll be sent to a secure site where you may pay the relevant purchase price for the products. Unless otherwise mentioned in our quote, all funds must be received in our bank account before items are distributed. Prices given are subject to exchange rate changes, and any difference in invoice value between quotation and order will be billed to the client. Quotations are only valid for existing stock and are valid for two calendar days from the date of the quote. Existing stock quotations do not reserve the stock for you and do not ensure that the stock will be accessible when you want to execute the transaction at a later date. The quote will expire if stock becomes unavailable during the two-day timeframe. Our payment conditions apply to all quotes.
Delivery of Goods
ZRSolar provides you with one(1) option for receiving your items. You have the option of receiving your package through courier; our delivery prices are subject to vary at any moment without notification to you. When you check out, you’ll see the appropriate delivery charges in your basket. If ZRSolar approves your order, it will deliver the items to you as soon as practically practicable; if we are unable to deliver the goods throughout the delivery time, we will tell you. You may then choose to cancel your order for the items within 7 (seven) days after receiving such information.
We will refund the purchase money if you want to cancel your order. If any delays occur that are beyond ZRSolar’s control, ZRSolar will not be responsible for any expenses or damages incurred by the client as a result of the delay.
When we deliver a product to the physical address you choose for delivery of your purchase, ZRSolar has fulfilled its responsibility to you. After delivering a product to the physical address specified by you, ZRSolar is not liable for any loss or unauthorized use of the product. While ZRSolar gives expert advice on the use of products given, the client is solely responsible for the appropriateness of the goods for the use intended by the client, and the business is not liable in any manner for the suitability of the goods sold for any end-use. When products are not delivered by ZRSolar or collected by the customer but are
instead collected or delivered to a third-party carrier, collection/delivery to the carrier is assumed to constitute delivery to the customer.
ZRSolar is not liable for products lost or damaged in transportation once they have been given to the carrier. When a client rejects special packaging, ZRSolar is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs while the product is in transit.
Warranty & Returns
ZRSolar complies with all of the Consumer Protection Act’s basic criteria. Any extra warranties granted are kept by the warranted product’s distributor or manufacturer. The manufacturer’s warranties shown on the site or in manuals are not ZRSolar’s and are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and restrictions, which may or may not apply in South Africa. There is no other express or implied guarantee.
Any purchase from ZRSolar comes with a 7-day money-back satisfaction guarantee (with the exception of solar panels which will attract a 25 percent re-stocking fee due to their bulk and fragility). If the products are intact, unsoiled, and unused, in their original, undamaged packing, and are ready for resale, you can return them for a full refund (excluding postage). Please tell us within 7 calendar days of the delivery date, and make sure the item arrives at our facility within 10 calendar days of the delivery date.
Return shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer if an item is returned within the 7-day guarantee period. Warranties are “carry-in,” which means that the client is responsible for returning the item under warranty to us at their expense. No returns will be accepted if the packaging is damaged or missing.
This quotation does not include any items that have not been stated. Unless otherwise specified, delivery, commissioning, installation, and electrical work are not included. Until ZRSolar receives the customer’s official purchase order, the issuance of a quote or a pro forma invoice provided as a quotation carries no obligation.

While ZRSolar makes every effort to build solar power solutions that are suitable for purpose and meet the demands of the user, ZRSolar cannot guarantee that the functioning or performance of a system is fit for purpose or meets the needs of the user. ZRSolar is not accountable for the appropriateness or production of the products supplied since it does not install and/or execute any of the systems sold.
Changes to these terms and conditions
ZRSolar reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion. It is your obligation to review these terms and conditions on a frequent basis to ensure that you are OK
with any changes. If you are not happy, you must not place any additional orders on the website or use it in any other manner.
Any such change will only apply to your usage of this website once it has been made public. You will be assumed to have accepted such changes if you use the website after the new terms and conditions have been placed on the website.

You consent to receive messages from us or any of our divisions or partners when you visit the website or submit emails to us.
Disclaimer
You use the website at your own risk, and you accept full responsibility for any risk or damage incurred as a consequence of using the website or relying on any information on the website. Unless otherwise provided by law, ZRSolar disclaims liability for any damage, loss, or expenditure, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the website and/or any material within. The website and all information provided on the website are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, completeness, or non infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
In addition to the disclaimers elsewhere in these terms and conditions, ZRSolar makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, that the information or files available on the website are free of viruses, spyware, malware, trojans, destructive materials, or any other data or code that can corrupt, destroy, compromise, disrupt, disable, harm, jeopardize, or otherwise impede the operation, stability, or security functionality in any way. You accept all risks associated with the existence of viruses, destructive materials, or any other data or code that can corrupt, compromise, jeopardize, disrupt, disable, harm, or otherwise impede in any way the operation or content of a computer system, computer network, any handset or mobile device, or your hardware or software, except where such risks arise due to the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of ZRSolar, its employees, agents, or authorized representatives. As a result, ZRSolar disclaims all liability for any damage, loss, or liability of any kind arising out of or related to your access to or use of the website.
Limitation of liability
Except if such responsibility derives from the gross negligence or deliberate misconduct of ZRSolar, its employees, agents, or authorized representatives, ZRSolar cannot be held accountable for any erroneous information published on the website and/or any wrong pricing posted on the website. You are invited to contact us if you encounter any problems or mistakes.
ZRSolar is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damages resulting from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content; or your inability to use the website; or illegal conduct on the website.
